Lencarta is moving to new premises!

Up until now, we have contracted out our warehousing and despatch needs to a facility in the south of England. They have done a great job but our growth over the last few years means that we are now moving into our own headquarters in Bradford, complete with our own, massive warehouse.
This photo shows just part of our new warehouse – they guy in the distance is painting the sliding door that leads to the rest of it, other members of his team are finishing off the other painting jobs. The electricians, plumbers and other tradesmen have all finished their work, and we’re good to go.
We have now started the move and will of course complete it as quickly as we can. It’s a big job though, involving around 50 lorry loads of products.
Once we’ve finished the move, nearly all of the various Lencarta departments (product research, office, customer service, photography, warehousing and despatch) will be working from the same base. This will improve efficiency and reduce costs, and we will also be able to provide you with a much better service, and we will also be able to hold more stock and to introduce more new products.
Unfortunately, whilst the move is under way, we won’t be able to despatch most orders, because at any given point in time, it’s likely that at least part of every order will be in a different place to the rest of it. Of course, this will happen less and less as more and more of our products end up in their place in our new warehouse, over the course of the next few days.
We will of course do our best to get the move completed as quickly and efficiently as we can, and meanwhile we can only apologise for the inevitable delays.
All of our staff will be fully involved, so although we will of course still answer the phones, our service may be less efficient than we would wish, as initially the only computer station will be in the office, and the people who answer the phones may be a long way away from the office during the unloading…
Also, although we will try very hard to avoid it, it is possible that we may not be able to reply to email enquiries as quickly as usual either.
