Lencarta are pleased to announce that we are now stocking Godox TL30 and TL60 RGB tube lights. These lights have proved very popular with our audience, so we have ensured we will be able to both provide and support anyone who wishes to purchase one of these new beauties from us.

The first thing you notice when you remove the TL30/TL60 from its packaging is the striking resemblance they have to a lightsaber. Though many photographers would be happy to own a light source from a galaxy far, far away, we’d argue the capabilities and opportunities provided to you by Godox’s latest tube lights are ultimately worth more to your shoots than an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

What are the Tube Lights for?

Designed to be both user-friendly and useful in a wide variety of lighting scenarios, these tube lights from Godox are suitable for lighting films, live streams, photo shoots and anything in between. The DMX control allows the tube light to react to sounds and music, and light accordingly, making this a fantastic light source for live music performances and concerts.

How high is the light quality of the TL30 And TL60?

Featuring a multitude of colour modes, the TL30 and TL60 have a very impressive CRI of 96, and a TLCI of 98. The incredibly wide colour palette allows the user to adjust a single colour from 360,000 shades, lighting them in a colour temperature range between 2700K and 6500K.

Tell me about the Bells and Whistles!

Not only does the TL30 and TL60 provide constant lighting for photo shoots, it can also create realistic and very convincing lighting effects for filming film/tv scenes. The TL60 has 39 built-in FX (special effects), including but not limited to: police lights, lightning effects, broken lightbulbs, candle flickering and tv screen glare. These FX and all other functions of the light can be controlled via a remote control (sold separately), the Godox Light App, directly on the panel, or via DMX.

But wait, there’s more!

Part of the same family, the Godox LC500R is also now in stock at Lencarta! Whilst similar to the TL30 and TL60, the LC500R allows for full control of hue and saturation, providing 360 colours with 0-100% dimmability. It comes equipped with a two-way barn door, allowing you even more control to shape the light output from the tube light.
