AN OVERVIEW:
This new extension head from Godox is designed for photographers looking to add more versatility to their photography. You can attached the unit to your AD200 and use the light either on top of your camera or on a light stand. The 2m cable will easily allow you to hold the light if needed, ideal for outdoor and studio photography.
2M Extension Cable
The EC200 comes fitted with a 2m (6,6ft) extension lead between the body of the flash and the unit itself. This gives you plenty of flexibility to have the AD200 / Pro out of the way at the bottom of the stand or attach to your belt.
Adjustable
The EC200 comes with a special swivel head, meaning you can tilt the unit up and down or rotate it side to side. This makes the AD200 / Pro essentially a very small speedlite hotshoe head but with an almost 2 and a half more power punch.
Accessorize
The extension head is not restricive and still allows all accessories to be attached that are standard for the AD200 / Pro. This also includes the STR-1 and S2 Bowens Mount brackets for softboxes and umbrellas should you wish to include them.
Compatibility
The EC200 is designed so that you lose absolutely no functionality. Should you need your tripod light stand in a tight spot, the extension heads can be used and attached to the AD-B2 for double the power output!
Universal Shoe
With a universal hotshoe featuring a 1/4" screw thread, you can apply the AD200 / Pro EC200 to any camera mount regardless of brand - such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Pentax, Panasonic and Olympus.
On-Camera Compatibility
The AD200 can still be controlled wirelessly when mounted on camera with the help of the X1T or X2T triggering systems. With their follow-through shoe, simply apply the flash to the top and you're good to go!
- AD200 COMPATIBILITY: This extension head is designed to be used with the Godox AD200 studio light. It is fully compatible with AD200 bare bulbs and speedlite head functions.
- 200Ws POWER OUTPUT: Similar to the AD200, this extension head has a power output of 200Ws and is designed specifically for the Godox AD200 portable flash.
- PORTABLE: The small size of the extension head allows it to be easily carried and provides more convenience when shooting.
- EXTENDED CABLE: The cable attached to the extension head is 2m long allowing you to easily hold the flash head outdoors, on location or in the studio.
- UNIVERSAL HOT SHOE MOUNT: The hot shoe mount fitted on the extension head allows you to place the head on top of the camera or into a light stand using an adapter.
