Triggering & Control
Wireless Triggers And Remotes
We have a wide range of trigger available. Selecting the correct trigger for your needs can sometimes be quite confusing, so here's a bit of info to get you started.
- If you just want a basic trigger to fire and remotely control your flash the Lencarta Wavesync Commander is the trigger for you. If you're using the trigger with a flash unit that doesn't have a built-in receiver, you will need to get the WaveSync 2.4 Receiver for each of the flash heads.
- If you need HSS and/or TTL then you should look at both the X1T and the XPro. The X1T will allow a second trigger or a hotshoe flashgun to be added on top. The XPro cannot do this, but it does have a much bigger screen and bigger button (it``s much easier to use). The X1T and XPros are camera specific, so make sure you get the right one for your camera.
It's important to note that the WaveSync Commander's frequency changed last year. They have changed from 443MHz to 2.4GHz. If you are using a WaveSync Commander which doesn't have "2.4" writen on the front in red, you are using the old 443MHz system. The 443MHz triggers are no longer available, however, you can find the 443MHz Receivers here. If you``re at all unsure of what you need, give us a call!
