Portable lighting stand for location photography STA001
This is a lightweight alluminium stand, adjustable from 78cm to 180cm. It is the ideal stand for location photography with either hotshoe flashguns or our Safari Li-on portable flash solution, when used with small, lightweight modifiers.
The tube sections and legs are made of Aluminium, with a total 5 sections (including 4 risers) to make it extremely compact when packed away. The retractable legs fold in to make it one of the most compact stands of its height. At the top of stand is a standard 16mm spigot.
As always, you should use weights at the base to make the stand more stable, and our portable stand makes this very easy because, if required, the legs can be splayed out so that they lie flat on the floor, which of course also improves its stability. Cheaper stands do not have this feature.
