Free lighting tutorials & videos

 

We're passionate about great lighting, and we want you to get the best out of your new equipment.

We want you to get terrific results, time and time again.  Having the right equipment will help, but knowing how to use it will ensure perfect photography time and time again.

So we've asked two well kown and successul photographers, Jonathan Ryan and Garry Edwards, to host regular intensive studio lighting workshops. These lighting workshops are subsidised by Lencarta to encourage as many people as possible to take advantage of them. Please click here for more info.

Garry Edwards and Marc Gouguenheim have also written some tutorials, covering the basics.

These tutorials are free because we are committed to providing useful information and a high standard of customer support.

You'll see that videos are also available for some subjects. We plan to produce more videos, on a range of lighting subjects, because we believe they are a useful way of explaining techniques, so please bookmark this page and check back.
